Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) Engineer

Job description

We're in search of a proficient ASIC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and validating digital systems and sub-systems within a collaborative team, working alongside digital architects, back-end engineers, and FPGA experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain digital designs for ASIC implementation.
  • Formulate test plans, collaborating with stakeholders for alignment.
  • Verify digital aspects of the ASIC from block level to top level.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts for automated verification processes.
  • Execute verification across process corners and with post-layout designs.
  • Support mixed-signal verification engineers in their tasks.
  • Enhance existing designs as needed.
  • Report progress and issues to the team lead/project leader and customer.
  • Conduct FPGA prototyping as necessary.
  • Assist in silicon validation activities.

Requirements:

  • Possess a University Degree (Master or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering.
  • Accumulate a minimum of five years of experience in digital design and verification.
  • Exhibit fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Experience in the Medical Devices field.
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of digital ASIC design flows.
  • Proficient in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM and adept in Cadence tools.
