The role
As an Assistant Project Manager at C&MC, you will play a vital role in supporting, assisting and contributing to the management of various projects within our department. Projects such as retrofits and modular new builds. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our quality standards.
Key accountabilities
Assisting in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets;
Collaborating and facilitating communication with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, production, and quality control;
Contributing to risk assessments and participating in the development of contingency plans;
Identifying and assisting in addressing project risks and issues;
Supporting the timely completion of projects within budget and in accordance with quality standards;
Providing updates on project progress and status to stakeholders;
Some travelling to visit project locations.
Skills & experience
Proactive, hands-on and energetic personality.
At least 3 years of experience in a project management capacity, demonstrating involvement in managing projects successfully;
Experience in the maritime industry;
Solid project management skills, enabling you to support cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects concurrently;
Proficiency with project management software;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with stakeholders at various levels;
A strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
