Automation Engineer
Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Eningeer to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Engineer at Amaris Consulting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our production lines. You will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting malfunctions, initiating preventative measures, and supporting the maintenance and technical teams in a variety of tasks. This position is ideal for a proactive and skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze malfunctions on production lines and troubleshoot causes of malfunction.
- Initiate preventative measures to prevent future malfunctions and update the preventative maintenance plan.
- Support and advise the Plant Maintenance Technicians in resolving malfunctions and other tasks.
- Assist the Technical Department Manager and IPL in drafting, maintaining, and releasing relevant CE documentation, machine/tool spare parts lists, and preventive maintenance advice.
- Prepare, coordinate, and support complex malfunctions, installations, and modifications of machines, tools, and installations.
- Guide and advise on new products/projects from a technical perspective.
- Develop, optimize, and monitor a preventive maintenance and registration system.
Profile Requirements:
- Degree in (electrical) engineering.
- Hands-on experience with production techniques, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical operations of production equipment.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, material properties, and quality, health, safety, CE guidelines, environment, and safety regulations.
- Experience with TIA Portal & Rockwell Software(s).
- Good experience in Allen Bradley PLC´s
- Familiarity with all common machine control software (Robots, HMI, etc.).
