
Aviation Maintenance Engineer – Lelystad

You won't be working on the line with us, but on specialized repair preparation of aircraft components (composite \& sheet metal). You assess damages, work with official documentation, prepare damage assessments, and ensure that repairs are technically well-prepared for the workshop. All in day shift. No shift work.
#### What will you be doing?
As an **Aviation Maintenance Engineer** , you are the technical conscience ensuring a complete technical solution for the workshop to carry out the repair and for the sales department to proceed. You work on composite parts, sheet metal parts, and hybrid constructions for civil and military aviation. You use official documentation, maintain contact with OEM parties such as Boeing and Airbus, and prepare FAA-DER and Part-21 applications where necessary.
When a damage assessment leads to an assignment, you follow the process further. You instruct colleagues in the workshop through a work order and work meetings, you monitor the technical agreements and ensure that the repair is carried out and delivered in accordance with the correct requirements.
Specifically, you will be involved in:
* Inspecting and assessing damages to aircraft components
* Preparing damage assessments and repair proposals
* Preparing and optimizing technical work instructions
* Working with official documentation, manuals, and aviation standards
* Coordinating with your colleagues in the workshop departments, customers, and manufacturers

**You can expect the following from us:**
* A salary between € 3,000 and € 4,700 gross per month
* A permanent position for 36 to 40 hours per week
* Day shift, no shift work
* 44 days off and 8% holiday pay
* Employment conditions according to the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement, including pension scheme and travel allowance for all kilometers
