### Your role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you build the systems that make our heat pumps smart and scalable. You develop backend services that collect, process and expose data for monitoring, optimisation and product development. One day you're working on robust APIs and data models; the next you're analysing field data to improve performance and reliability.

You collaborate closely with embedded, control and product engineers. Working close to the hardware means you immediately see how your software impacts real products and real customers. You help shape backend architecture, make deliberate technical choices and build systems designed to grow with Weheat.
