We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our client from our offices based in Leiden, The Netherlands.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
Analyzing different requirements and standards, identifying the concepts and relationships involved.
Modelling the conceptual information using FactBased.
Modelling in the NORMA tool using ORM.
Semantically validating the data model generated.
Transforming the conceptual model into a relational database.
Populating the conceptual model with data examples.
Generating software specifications for the conceptual model.
Formulating software requirements.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
A university degree in a beta discipline or economics (with a sense for IT).
Solution-oriented and able to translate the complexity of processes into improvements and clear, achievable goals (including the path to get there).
Analytically strong and IT skills: capable of developing and utilizing analytical methods and IT tools to make processes transparent and support decision-making.
Result-oriented team player: comfortable functioning within a cross-functional environment focused on team results.
Pragmatic and innovative: Able to use pragmatic and, where necessary, new methods to achieve (measurable) improvements (of business processes).
Interpersonal skills: Able to promote trust and cooperation both within the own team and in client relationships.
Takes a broad interest in the general area of work, capable of gaining insights beyond conventional boundaries and willing to explore unexplored avenues.
Dutch citizenship.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
BPMN knowledge.
