Business Analyst
The role
is expected to contribute towards business development, practice development (including mentoring, team building and though leadership).
Who are you?
•Requirement Management – Requirement Gathering, Analysis and Elicitation Techniques, Preparation of BRDs and FSDs
•Develop unambiguous, complete, and consistent requirements specifications to support implementation and transition to new ways of working.
•Engage with stakeholders and relevant subject matter experts to identify, collate, and understand the detailed business requirements behind an identified business problem or opportunity.
•Analyse and document current processes, workflows, and information exchanges to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of service.
•Analyse and interpret the impact new requirements will have on business operations and design and document the new business processes needed.
•Business Case preparation and Business Impact Assessment
•Contribute to the development of business change plans and benefits profiles.
•Contribute to the production of high-level project plans and identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate.
•Create and maintain the library of functional documentation related to key processes and the services they enable.
•Business Process Standardization and Harmonization
•Product assessment, Tool Evaluation and Vendor Selection
•Involve in RFP/RFI response preparation and submission (Business solution conceptualization), Proactive Proposal building for existing and new accounts, contribute towards winning new logos and projects.
•Thought Leadership and IP creation – Create IP that can be leveraged to drive non-linear growth and drive business outcomes. Drive the thought leadership agenda for the BU via white papers, webinars, social media interactions, and other such public forums.
•Solutioning - Participate in client engagements (pursuits, projects, discussions) and own the Solutioning from a domain / business point of view
What do you bring?
•Extensive experience in delivering IT transformation projects.
•Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at various levels within the client organisation.
•Ability to foresee risk, identify dependencies and manage them in advance.
•Strong Communication Skills
•Team / interpersonal skills
•Analytical /Problem Solving skills.
•Experienced and credible in economically regulated business scenarios, specifically Aviation.
•Experience in working with onsite/offshore models.
•Experience in delivering complex projects on time/on budget
•Strong experience in shaping portfolios and business cases for the customer
•Ability to undertake enterprise level digital strategy development
•A technical degree/diploma in engineering
•A degree/diploma in business management
