Business Analyst
Introduction
In addition to our Sales Excellence team, we’re looking for a communicative and convincing Sales Business Analyst.
The Business Analyst’s main responsibility is optimization of sales processes for the local European Sales Offices. Bridging the gap between sales and solutions. In this role you along with local stakeholders, will be responsible to analyze business processes and to create insights on how and where to improve or better understand existing processes for further development and implementation of new tools, projects or regions.
In a rapidly growing and changing market with a promising future, you will interact closely with our local Shimano Sales Offices who are in direct contact with our (B2B) customers.
You can easily adapt to new and challenging situations, but relying on your methodical way of working you are able to convince and enthuse stakeholders with your ideas and solutions.
With our current team we can enable and drive improvement and optimization of the end-to-end sales processes across offices offering and harmonizing tools processes and solutions to grow sales. Shimano Europe continues to grow, which leads to a variety of projects and initiatives that are in need of our expertise and support.
You will be joining the Sales Excellence team, a small growing team which is part of the European Sales Operations Team. The team is supportive, approachable, humoristic, flexible, and sporty. We work hard to deliver but we know how to have fun and relax along with a lot of team building activities such as going for lunch walks, social rides after work and joining Shimano supported events, like the Amstel Gold Race. The Challenge
Map the end-to-end sales processes & technology used across Shimano Europe offices.
Work on development and enhancements of the standardized European sales process.
Highlight possible sales process improvements within the organization that give rise to customer centricity and improved efficiency.
Support in the design and implementation of proposed process improvements.
Monitor the identified processes to support the business with achieving alignment and improved performance.
Act as liaison between the sales offices and project teams to understand business requirements and translate these into practical solutions.
Maintain good communication with all stakeholders, to keep them updated on progress but also to be a sparring partner on proposed optimizations.
What are we looking for?
Preferably a Master°ree in relevant discipline.
3+ years of, preferably international, experience in process improvement, gap analysis, business requirement gathering.
Proven experience in writing business and functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and process documentation.
Understanding of and experience with CRM and ERP
A comprehensive understanding of business and operating models in B2B and B2C environments.
Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Advanced communication skills in English that result in effective delivery of key messages for an international audience.
Experience with the IIBA global business analysis code standard is a plus.
The role starts with a fixed term contract for 2 years.
