Business Analyst ERP - Finance

Your opportunity:
It is an exciting time to join IMCD, whilewe are embarking on a Digital Transformation journey. As Business and SupportAnalyst JD Edwards you will be part of our Group IT ERP team focusing on theFinance processes. You will have the opportunity to work with highly knowledgeableand passionate IT people, working together on supporting, improving and rollingout IMCD’s centralized ERP solution and deliver financial solutions acrossmultiple applications. Based in Rotterdam and reporting to the Senior ERPManager, you will work across business groups and regions, ensuring a fit foruse integrated JD Edwards system. 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support key users: provide and structure hands-on support on the fully implemented JD Edwards solution focusing on Finance
  • Understand end-to-end Finance processes and their resulting requirements
  • Analyze, evaluate and translate business user requests into user stories
  • Work with release responsible colleagues to ensure that production releases are planned out with minimal or no disruption to business partners and business users
  • Work with the business to design effective and efficient solutions assuring the quality and upgradability of IMCD’s global ERP template
  • Contribute to configuring and testing of the solutions
  • Collaborate with and assist to developers, subject matter experts and colleagues of other software products to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs;
  • Assist the global organization, with the development of their user adoption and growth in using system functionality
  • Support in role and access related questions / tasks

    • Your qualities:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in management sciences, IT or Finance
  • 5+ years’ work experience in Finance/ Accounting & Control or IT Business Consultancy experience
  • Oracle JD Edwards application experience as a consultant, user, super user or similar.
  • Good team player and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing)
