Business Development Executive - Digital Workplace

The role At SoftwareOne, the Business Development Executive is a solutioning expert against customer problems and business needs. The BDE identifies, develops, and lands opportunities for defined portfolio elements in cooperation with Account Management (AM). The Digital Workplace Services team delivers deep technical and licensing knowledge based on long-standing relationships with the world's leading software publishers – including Microsoft and Google - to create workplace solutions that work. Role and Responsibilities Establish relationships with new and existing Digital Workplace customers and secure new business in the assigned portfolio element(s) Can engage with stakeholders from IT all the way to C-level Drive the entire Sales Cycle from initial Customer Engagement till Contract Closing for new customers. For existing customers, Sales Cycle is started by Account Manager Work with Account Managers to ensure that the overall account strategy and goals will be followed and achieved Maintain a very detailed level of relevant knowledge on the assigned portfolio element(s) to have meaningful and relevant conversations with customers and prospects Work with Technical Architects / Practice Leaders to ensure that we design the right solutions for our customers Provide feedback to Account Management on ways to decrease the Sales Cycle, enhance Sales, and improve company brand and reputation Construct service contracts and associated commercials/cost model based on scope and customer’s desired outcomes To be successful in this role you must have a highly motivated and growth-oriented mindset with a results oriented, confident, and entrepreneurial spirit. You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch as well as strong business acumen. What we need to see from you Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, (International) Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills Ability to position multiple offerings from Future Workplace portfolio to customer as a combined solution to customer’s business problems. Experience and/or ability to land 365Simple, and cross-sell business value add-onsand canup-sell to multiple attached add-ons within add-on tiers. Solid problem solving and consultative skills required Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel regarding positioning sales and solutions Maintain and acquire sales and technical certifications in assigned area and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Maintain and report on regional sales pipeline, and project status Proficient knowledge in SoftwareOne services, solutions, and products Flexible travel required Job Function Field SalesAt SoftwareOne, the Business Development Executive is a solutioning expert against customer problems and business needs.
