Your responsibilities:
- In short, you'll engage with our clients, business consultants, and analysts to understand the domain-specific business processes and existing bottlenecks and challenges. You then design and build suitable automation solutions using a programmatic approach.
- Participating in agile meetings and rituals (daily stand-up, refinement, demo, retrospective).
- Organizing and leading design workshops and stakeholder interviews to better understand the domain problems.
- Collaborating in research and the composition of technical business process designs.
- Designing strategic BPMN 2.0 process models.
- Developing executable BPMN 2.0 process models.
- Developing executable technical workflows using suitable frameworks and scripting languages.
- Research and trend analysis about the latest BPM/A technologies and practices.
- Collaboration in the design and improvement of BPM/A and CD capabilities of nexxbiz.
What do we expect you to bring to the table?
- You have a passion for information technology and the know-how to translate business processes into IT solutions.
- You have > 3 years of relevant experience in business solution design and development, e.g., business process analyst, Business IT consultant, solution/enterprise architect.
- You have experience in an Agile environment in a role where you inspire, prioritize, and work with various stakeholders.
- You are a tactical doer! In addition to conceptual and analytic thinking, you also know how to realize it.
- You are organization-sensitive. You can quickly empathize with the challenges of an organization; you know how to adapt quickly to the culture, and you are part of the team.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree (HBO/WO) in a technical discipline, preferably in Information Technology.
- You are client-driven. You can empathize with our clients and the customers of our clients.
- You are a risk-taker (read: not a cowboy/reckless). You dare to make choices and therefore, be responsible for the consequences.
- You know how to translate both problems and strategic issues into IT solution directions and can engage in building/configuring it.

Preferable IT Experience
- Adequate experience with business process modeling languages such as BPMN 2.0/DMN 1.3.
- Sufficient Scripting / Software Development skills in software development languages, such as Java, JavaScript, GoLang, C#, Python, etc.
- Sufficient experience in Data modeling: SQL, JSON, XML, etc.
- Bonus: Experience with Low-Code and No-Code app development platforms (OutSystems, Mendix, etc.).
Optional Business Domain Experience
- Business Analyst, IT Solution Engineer/Architect in Insurance or Financial branch.
- Camunda Experience/Certification
Other requirements
- Expert level English (spoken/written)
- Intermediary level B2 Dutch (spoken/written)
- Permanent Dutch Residence and Work Permit
- Living in a 100 km radius from Utrecht
