Your challenge
As Software Engineer at AKKA Technologies you use your knowledge to realize innovative projects. You know how to develop software in a structured way, work together in a (multidisciplinary) team and can communicate clearly about project progress and possible project obstacles. With your background you have learned to extract the correct information from datasheets and to write high-quality software based on that.
An interesting aspect of this position is that as an Engineer you get the opportunity to learn from your senior colleagues and participate in varied projects within the high-tech sector. This way you keep developing, challenging yourself and you gain a lot of experience.
In addition to software development, you are also asked to be active as a consultant: to help improve the quality of both the product and the development processes. This can be done by actively involving yourself in the design and architecture of the applications, but also by shaping and improving the agile scrum process. The guarantee you get: no two days are the same.

Who are you?
There is a good balance between the knowledge you bring with you and the knowledge you will get from AKKA. You have a passion for C++ coding and with this passion, you take on the challenge to deepen your knowledge of this language and also expand this knowledge with other programming languages. This way you learn to think from different angles and you can assess and advise in which programming language the right software for the project can be written.
In addition to programming, you are interested in the aspects surrounding it. You can think of, for example, automation testing and the use of tooling. Moreover, quality and reliability are important for you.
