Chemical Analyst – HPLC
Job Description
Have you graduated in Analytical Chemistry at HLO or University level and do you have experience in performing HPLC analyses? Then Eurofins PROXY Laboratories has an interesting vacancy for you as a Chemical Analyst for the Small Molecule Drugs team.
Within the QC laboratory of PROXY you are independently responsible for the implementation and reporting of HPLC/GC analyzes of semi-finished and finished products. You work in accordance with international guidelines. The team works with various analysis techniques with a focus on HPLC, GC, Kjeldahl and dissolution.
These instruments are mainly used for analyzes on tablets of painkillers, but also hormones and anti-parasitic veterinary drugs.
A positive working environment is very important within the Eurofins PROXY team. We have an informal working atmosphere and organize multiple activities during the year. Examples are barbeque events, team outings and lab outings.
Qualifications
You aspire to a position as Chemical Analyst in a QC environment. You are someone who works accurately and takes responsibility for performing the daily work. You also meet the following requirements:
• You have a diploma at HLO or University level in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or a comparable education that makes you familiar with chemical analyses;
• You have 1-3 years of experience with HPLC analyses;(Internship- or work experience)
• You have an affinity with method development or validations;
• You have a passion to work in the pharmaceutical industry;
• You are motivated and eager to learn and can quickly master new techniques;
• You have preferably gained experience with instrumental analysis techniques during your internships or your first job, such as titrations, Karl Fischer, disintegration and other wet-chemical techniques;
• You preferably have experience working in accordance with a quality system such as GMP, GLP or ISO-17025;
• You are vigilant with regard to the quality of your own work and that of your colleagues;
• You have a good command of the English language, both written and oral. Dutch is a plus;
• You are able to work effectively both independently and in a team;
• You are able to work under time pressure, and you can organize and plan your work independently.
In addition, in this growing organization you want to use your knowledge to improve the department together with your colleagues. You are efficient and like to streamline processes. In addition to intelligence and accuracy, this also requires social and communication skills.
