CICS-System-engineer (English version)

To expand our team, we are looking for a CICS System Engineer (z/OS) who understands that an optimally functioning infrastructure depends on successfully connecting all parties involved. You think critically and know how to express your opinion in understandable language. Every assignment is different, of course, but we are looking for an IT professional for:

  • Maintenance (installation, configuration, upgrades, management, etc.) of CICS and if possible MQ subsystems on z/OS
  • The accurate and timely identification and possible correction of (system) errors
  • Proactively participating in the efficient resolution and elaboration of queries, problems and projects
  • Good communication skills and team player
  • What matters most to us is who you are. What motivates you, how do you prefer to work, what are the fun challenges for you, what values are important to you. Come tell us about your knowledge and working experiences with:

  • Installation and implementation of CICS possibly MQ and related tooling
  • SMP/E and other z/OS management tools and methodologies
  • Obviously JCL and possibly Rexx
  • CICS /MQ technical system management
  • CICS Monitoring
  • In addition, you have:

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Relevant work experience in an Enterprise environment
  • You have a flexible working attitude and are a real team player
  • You know how to involve people in your solutions
  • Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
