Commercial Operations Analyst

LOCATION OF WORK: You will be designated as a Flex Worker. This means that you can work from home and/or from the Amersfoort Office in The Netherlands.

World Kinect Energy Services offers energy management services and sustainability solutions including renewable power sourcing with renewable energy certificates, and management of both on-site and off-site renewable projects with power purchase agreements, ETS emission allowances, carbon offsets and sustainability strategy consulting.

SUMMARY

As part of the Global Sales Team, you will work closely with the Account Executive Team and the Global Originating Team in supporting sales processes and initiatives to develop the business of World Kinect.

In line with the global originating process, you will research and analyse companies’ business activities, global presence and sustainability targets and prepare a research file. You will send out initial cold ‘introduction’ emails or make a cold call to prospects to gain interest. When there is a response, the warm lead will be handed over to an assigned Account Executive who will follow up and make use of the research file that has been compiled.

As part of the Account Executive Team, you will also provide support to the team on sales related activities.

In addition, you will be the point of contact for the Account Executives Team for Salesforce related issues. For sales management reporting purposes, you will maintain and prepare sales dashboards and create reports.

You will report to the Senior Director Global Sales in EMEA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting the Account Executive Team in achieving strategic goals e.g. generating demand for our sweet spots
  • Work with the Global Originating Team in APAC, NA and LATAM and the International Marketing Team to generate the right leads and keep track of proceedings
  • Generate leads from D&B, based on the requirements from the Account Executive Team
  • Conduct detailed research on leads and provide information, analytics and data to help the Account Executive Team in their evaluation, so that they pursue only leads that are likely to provide results
  • Identify the key decision makers for sales prospecting
  • Explore the background of shortlisted leads and search for relevant contacts, including their personal details (job description, email, phone number, location, etc.)
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce, provide support and help to organize/update/extract information, build views, reports and dashboards
  • Conduct Salesforce training for the Account Executive Team on how to use Salesforce and enter data correctly in line with the defined Salesforce guidelines
  • BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • For this activity you must follow and pass the Salesforce Business Administrator (SBA) course.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to multitask
  • Effective time management skills
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Team player who excels at performing in a collaborative international environment
