Contract Manager - Group Procurement

For procurement area this means moving towards uniform and efficient processes and creating single points of responsibility for the group. To make this possible we would like to bring on board a dynamic Contract Manager to join our Group Procurement team.

How you will make a difference

You will help us to finance change to change finance, by playing a crucial role in optimizing the value/ cost/ risk/ ESG ratios in our strategic procurement processes. This position involves working closely with contract owners, negotiating with potential suppliers, leading contracting activities, and actively managing contracts to realize their full value.

As a part of your daily routine:

  • You will take the lead in negotiations with potential suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • You will lead the contracting process with potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • You will actively realize the value and impact from contracts by managing supplier performance, relations, risks, ESG indicators and payments.
  • You will plan and execute or assist in planning and executing all exit-related activities when necessary.
  • You will collaborate with Contract Owners to plan and strategize procurement activities.
  • You will challenge Contract Owners and Business lines on multi-discipline value/cost/risk/ESG optimization.
  • You will support Contract Owners in supplier meetings, escalations, and provide coaching to Business Procurement Managers.
  • You will provide support to Contract Owners in responding to information requests from regulators, external and internal audits. Advise on complex procurement queries to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • You will develop and maintain contract management tools, training programs, best practices, and processes.
  • You will ensure application of Triodos Terms & Conditions and contract templates with the support of Group Legal.
  • You will co-develop and maintain Triodos Procurement Policies in line with DORA, EBA GOA and other applicable regulations.

  • Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

  • previous experience in commercial contract management, preferably in financial institution
  • practical knowledge of DORA, EBA, GOA and other applicable regulations
  • practice in working with various stakeholders and ability to build long-term relations at all levels in the organization
  • NEVI, CIPS or comparable certification (as an asset)
  • Your future colleagues

    You will report directly to Group Procurement Director and collaborate closely with Corporate Procurement Managers, including Sourcing Managers and Contract Managers within your team. Additionally, you will engage with Contract Owners, other colleagues, and internal key stakeholders to establish the most effective structure for future endeavours.
