About the role - you will:
As a , you'll have the opportunity to:
Learn how to assess the risks and financial strength of new and existing clients while continually monitoring industry sector developments.
Opportunity to examine counterparty credit and market risk exposures to ensure compliance with Seagate risk appetite.
Work with other Credit Team members to expand the use of credit risk mitigation tools, learn how to apply these tools for managing the risk profile within acceptable parameters.
Help monitor real time risk working with market risk whilst gaining a further introduction into the market risk function.
Enroll in preparing financial statement analysis.
Gain knowledge on how to assess credit requests and present findings to peers, leaders, and partners.
Learn how to handle client and/or stakeholder requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation to a senior team member if necessary.
Contribute to the creation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to understand the nature of the business and observe how benefit from these reports.
Interacts proactively with other team members to learn about the Company culture and office communication styles.
About you:
Ability to communicate at all levels and able to build and develop relationships with different stakeholders within the business.
Capacity to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
Strong curiosity about data analysis, accounting, and business finance analysis.
Knowledge of MS Office, with specific skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, SQL).
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Methodical in approach with a meticulous attention to detail.
Sound verbal/written communication abilities in English (Proficiency in Chinese is a plus).
The confidence to fail.
Self-starter with a drive for process improvements and the ability to problem-solve.
Quick and eager learner with a “can-do” attitude
Able to successfully multi-task, prioritize and plan activities as to use time effectively and be efficient.
Highly detailed oriented, able to take effective notes and possess strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience with financial accounting analysis through coursework.
SAP Experience is a plus.
Bilingual skills.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Early Careers Requirements:
Fresh graduate from a bachelor's/ master’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program.
Available to start as soon as possible for a 6-month program, 40 hours per week.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel).
Must be authorized to work in the Netherlands for any employer.
You are not looking for a “thesis internship”.

You will receive an internship allowance and Commuting Allowance if you do not have a student public transport card.
