About this role:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes in alignment with our hub and spoke data architecture..
• Collaborate with various teams to identify and fulfill their data requirements.
• Utilize Google BigQuery to develop and maintain robust data models, metadata, and comprehensive documentation.
• Implement processes and standards to maintain high data quality and integrity.
• Continuously explore new data technologies and tools to improve our data infrastructure.
• Mentor junior data engineering staff and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

What will you bring to the table?

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and preferably GCP) or big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of data transformation tools such as DBT or similar
• Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
