The role
We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Science team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to developing and maintaining our data science platform. You'll collaborate closely with team members and clients to support various projects, driving innovation and creating tangible business value.

Key accountabilities
Define requirements for applying data science methods to solve business challenges;
Utilize advanced analytical and machine learning techniques to extract value from business data;
Develop data-driven models and reports to generate insights and address product development challenges;
Present data-driven recommendations to product teams;
Work on automating and standardizing the process of report generation towards 450+ customers;
Contribute to the development and enhancement of Damen's analytical tools;
Identify new business opportunities through data science methodologies.
Skills & experience
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or econometrics;
1 to 3 years of experience with a solid understanding of business contexts and customer needs;
Knowledge of data analytics processes, data science methodologies, and machine learning applications;
Knowledge of data engineering principles and experience with setting-up and maintaining infrastructure for Machine Learning and analytics for large volumes of data;
Ability to distill actionable insights from analysis for non-technical audiences;
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Powershell, and SQL. Familiarity with analytics platforms and tools like DataBricks, Azure Synapse, Azure ML and Power BI;
Excellent team collaboration skills, with a proactive and curious approach to problem-solving;
A growth mindset with a strong interest in continuous learning and development.
