For longterm opportunities we are insearch for design engineers within:
Integrated Logistic Support / Naval Architecture /Electrical & Automation / Marine Engineering / Combatsystems.

As aDesign Engineer, you will develop design solutions into a set ofrequirements during precontract activities. You will perform(sub)design tasks within the technical team of a tender under thedirection of the Tender Manager or Discipline Manager. Draftsreports and specifications and collaborates closely with colleagueswithin and outside the tender.

Key accountabilities
As Design Engineer your key responsibilities willinclude amongst others:

• Perform design and reporting activities,ensuring accuracy and compliance with projectrequirements.
• Contribute torequirements analysis, concept generation, general systemarchitecture, system design specifications, identification,evaluation of design options and support RFQ processes andevaluations.
• Write technicaldocuments, equipment specifications, contract specifications, andreports, effectively communicating complex concepts anddata.
• Facilitatecommunication with stakeholders to gather input and ensurealignment on technical solutions.
• Participate in discussions with customers,suppliers, and other stakeholders on technical aspects of proposedsolutions.
• Support costevaluations provided by suppliers and internalstakeholders.
• Collaboratewith internal departments to optimize projectoutcomes.

Skills &experience
To excel as DesignEngineer, you should possess the following qualifications andqualities:

•Bachelor or Master degree in one of the relatedfields.
• Minimum five years ofexperience, preferably in complex shipbuildingprojects.
• Expertise in avariety of design concepts and practices, including technologicallyadvanced design and proposal processes.
• Good command of the Dutch (preferred) andEnglish language both written and verbal.
• A pre-employment security screening is standardpart of the recruitment procedure.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are bothrequired.
