DevOps Engineer

You will help optimize, document and support IT Tooling and infrastructure components hosted in our on-premises data centers and cloud provided environments. The successful candidate will accomplish this by leveraging their expertise in DevSecOps, automation, CICD tooling and practices, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and communication.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reusable templates and code to automate solution delivery and deployment processes across multiple cloud providers.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise architects, security, and SMEs to establish and enforce DevSecOps standards, best practices, and procedures.

  • Identify manual processes and procedures and design and implement automation solutions using cloud native services.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices.

  • Provide third-tier support to the operations and support teams; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud or on-premises infrastructure and deployments.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, evaluate and recommend new tools, services, and methodologies to improve the overall DevOps process.

  • Maintain and improve our infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Route53, SNS and Lambda.

  • Build, review, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines tailored to the organization’s needs, technologies, and deployment environments.

  • Integrate security scanning tools within pipeline.

  • Ensure systems and software are kept up to date with security patches and updates.

  • Ensure adherence to change control processes.

  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities across infrastructure and implement them.

  • Design, implementation, and support of Amazon Web Services and hybrid cloud solutions across multiple global regions / domains.

  • Support the team and business customers with day-to-day requests, change and incident tickets.

  • Proven track record within Financial Services Asset Management;

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills and experience;

  • Accountability and ability to challenge in a constructive manner;

  • Fluent in English both written and verbally.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive direct experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.

  • Solid experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub, CloudBees, Jenkins, SonarQube)

  • Experience with monitoring and metrics tools such as DataDog, CloudWatch, Neptune.

  • Experience with artifact management tools such as Nexus Repository.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Scripting skills using various technologies such as PowerShell, Python.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels; ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and succinctly.

  • Experience working on agile teams.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrate the key critical behaviors of commitment to task, communication, customer focus, decision making/problem solving, tolerance of ambiguity, planning, prioritizing, and goal setting.

  • Experience working in multiple OS (Windows, Linux)

  • Experience working in various tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365)

  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple application platforms and domains.

  • Certifications in relevant technologies, methods, or platforms

  • Strong understanding of IT security protocols, processes, and best practices

  • Knowledge in setting up load balancers, cloud networks, and virtual networks

  • Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles

  • Asset Management services or related industry knowledge

  • What will you be getting?

  • You will be earning between €4.400,- and €6.500,- monthly based on 40 hours and your experience;

  • You will also receive a thirteenth month and a holiday allowance in the form of a monthly flex budget, amounting to 16.7% of your monthly salary;
