We are seeking a creative and analytical Digital Merchandiser to join our team. The Digital Merchandiser will be responsible for optimizing the online shopping experience by curating and presenting products in a visually appealing and user-friendly manner. This role requires a keen understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and eCommerce platforms to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. ADI Global Distribution is based in Europe, Canada & America. In Europe ADI is active in 11 countries and facilitates 7 websites in local language. ADI Benelux has 3 websites. One for Dutch customers, and 2 for Belgium customers in the languages: Dutch & French. These websites display 85% of ADI's product portfolio. When authenticated (logged-in), customers have access to extended product information and make purchases online. A Digital Merchandiser 'guides' customers through a frictionless browsing session to stimulate conversion. Using data and analytics a Merchandiser influence a customer journey via means of up- & cross sell, visual navigation, sort-order and recommendation zones. Working with the Benelux Category & Marketing Managers and the European PIM (Product Information Management) team the Digital Merchandiser is able to make recommendations and implement strategy plans to drive conversion on product categories, series or on SKU level. The Benelux Website offers a small 25.000 different products. Although a Merchandiser is not required to be a product specialist, it helps to have affinity with Security products and to be able to translate technical information from ADIs Product Specialists into shopping improvements for the wider customer base.
JOB DUTIES:
Identify site wide navigation and product page enhancements & enrichment opportunities.
Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive conversion rates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product management to ensure alignment of merchandising efforts with overall business objectives.
Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to analyze product performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Optimize product listings and digital assets for search engine optimization (SEO) and enhance discoverability.
Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay informed about best practices and emerging opportunities.
Continuously evaluate and improve the online shopping experience by testing and optimizing merchandising tactics, product placements, and navigation pathways.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field.
Understanding of eCommerce platforms (B2C) and content management systems (CMS).
You have some experience working in a similar role focusing on online merchandising.
You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch & French. And you're proficient in English.
