Director of Supply Chain

Your role

The Director of Supply Chain is a results-oriented collaborator that will create a competitive advantage by driving and supporting the overall customer installations sourcing and supplier management program for the EMEA region. This will include developing and executing supply chain strategies, support for the implementation project teams, managing and optimizing the program’s operations, including supporting technologies. The individual is expected to find opportunities and drive initiatives to implement efficiencies and create value through sourcing strategies and supplier lifecycle management.

  • Strategically developing and implementing commodity/supply chain strategies covering all commodities, services and supplier processes throughout the organization to deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization.
  • Establishing, maintaining and reporting on measurable performance metrics for all levels of supply chain & procurement activities to include but not limited to supplier performance, supplier quality, internal order placement performance, buyer activity levels, purchasing cost savings and key customer installation SLAs/ KPIs.
  • Establishing and maintaining Supplier Management Program, including leveraging and building on internal capabilities across supplier on-boarding, performance management, and analytics.
  • Negotiating commercial terms for vendor MSAs
  • Managing and developing buyers staff to support goals, initiates and processes
  • Establishing and maintaining purchasing best practices, including in the area of purchasing controls.
  • Overseeing the Vendor Managed Inventory Programs as needed.
  • Tracking, reporting, and driving cost saving efforts to maximize financial performance of the company.
  • Developing and managing key supplier relationships as needed to support customer requirements and long terms Company goals and strategies
  • Addressing issues as needed with suppliers, internal stakeholders and buyers.

    • What you’ll need

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Extensive experience of progress experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of services and goods, with at least 3 to 4 years in a leadership role
  • Five years in mission critical/ data centre/ customer implementations is strongly preferred
  • Awareness of business and market trends in EMEA and ability to correlate them with supply chain conditions and risks
  • Strategic Sourcing expertise including exceptional negotiations skills, both commercial and contractual terms & conditions
  • Procure to Pay experience and expertise
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows / Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Advanced skills in financial analysis and modelling, including benchmarking and forecasting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills In English
