About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Director of Supply Chain Development & Engineering Europe to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This position will lie within the European Operations Business Unit and you’ll be working in a successful team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level! You’ll be reporting into the VP Operations of Europe Pacific Developed Markets and you will become a key reference in our Supply Chain function for the heads of R&D, Innovation in Europe and Engineering Globally.

In brief, you will be responsible for;

  • Lead the Engineering and Supply Chain Development teams and associated strategy in Europe
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to help optimize our Supply Chain performance (Cost, quality, safety, flexibility, capacity) in line with our strategic agenda
  • To land in our Supply Network the required technologies and technical capabilities to fulfill our strategic ambitions around capacity, product, packaging, sustainability, and value creation
  • To keep improving the quality of our project management, engineering design, and execution across the European Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering and SC initiatives with our business objectives
  • Ensure we deliver the programs and projects connected with Growth platforms guaranteeing the required inputs and expertise from a Supply Chain perspective
  • To ensure we have the right organization design, processes, supporting systems, and teams to effectively deliver on the above
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain KraftHeinz's position within the European market
  • Qualifications
    Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar field. Technical Qualifications and/or knowledge in the Engineering field would be preferred.
  • At least 10 or more years of work experience in the Supply Chain field, preferably within the Manufacturing Industry, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverages or similar.
  • Previous experience in Program Management and/or Strategic Project Management within the Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Engineering fields.
  • Consistent track record in successfully developing, implementing and delivering Engineering and Supply Chain Group Strategies.
  • Leadership work experience, management of teams across borders.
  • You are fluent in English. Other languages such as Dutch, French, Spanish and/or Italian would be an advantage.
