Job Summary
Motion Controls international (MCi) , a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.
The will be based in .
In this role you will be defining and completing the MCi technology policy regarding product electronics as well as representing MCi on the electronic and product technical level in the market. Moreover you will be responsible for leading electronics related projects.
What a typical day looks like:
Managing the development of electronic concepts, partial products and products including defining, coordinating and being responsible for the result of the electronics developments and projects at suppliers and development partners
Representing MCi on a product technical level towards suppliers, customers and OEMs at various levels as well as being their technical advisor to all relevant topics and questions
Solving complex problems in existing products due to your strong know-how
Following and evaluating electronics market trends regarding the application of existing and new technologies in the current and future MCi end products
Advising Senior Management and departments on strategic choices in the electronic field
Performing patent research and supporting applications for new patents in the field of product electronics.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
University degree in a field of electronics
Profound experience in managing and leading an electronics related project
Knowledge of electronics design and simulation tools as well as microcontrollers and embedded software
Ideally also experience with EMC specifications and tests
English fluent in word and writing, German and Dutch knowledge is a plus
Analytical skills as well as strategic thinking is essential for this role
Being able to lead and function independently as well as working in a team
Presentation skills for the various levels together with the ability to report briefly and concisely
