Field Sales Engineer/ Rep

Responsibilities

  • Promote Trina Solar products to both existing and new potential customers.
  • Offer advice and assistance with all questions regarding our product range and concept solutions and train customers on new product solutions.
  • Building strong customer relationships through personal targeted visits preparation and precise needs analysis with customer feedback. 
  • Observe and analyze market developments and coordinate actions in consultation with responsible Sales Manager.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under the managed accounts to the Sales Manager and /or Team Leader on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis as required.
  • Represent the company in local and national exhibitions and conferences.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in selling technical B2B products in the renewable industry or solar sector.
  • Preferably previous working experience in the solar industry and knowledge of the solar market
  • Ability to liaise with customers on different levels
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Emphasizing Excellence
  • Creativity and motivation for Sales
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Valid drivers license. 
  • This role is home based remotely within Netherlands and Germany
  • Fluent written and spoken language skills in English and German and Dutch and / or French and any additional European language would be a plus
