The main focus of the role is Installation, Preventive Maintenance, and Instrument Qualification of Trace Elemental Equipment products within the territory listed above.
Collaborate with colleagues in our customer care center to efficiently schedule your service visits to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Install our products from our diverse Trace Elemental Analysis systems (AAS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS) portfolio, demonstrate instrument specification and instruct customers on use and maintenance.
Perform preventive maintenance and qualifications on customer instruments and help to improve instrument uptime and availability.
Assure responsive telephone support and diagnostic as well as on-site Services to exceed the customers expectation and making them successful.
Detailed preparation and documentation of maintenance and qualification activities to meet regulatory requirements.
Always ensure the highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and raise issues if necessary, to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible. Follow our ethical business conduct guidance.
Optimize your own work schedule by coordinating with all the necessary partners for service planning/scheduling
Assures alignment of all activities at the customer site with the rest of Thermo Fisher Scientific and informs others about important information with respect to our customers ( information about new purchases to sales/lead generation)
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Professional background in Electronics/Chemistry/Engineering on at least BSc (HBO) or MSc level (University)
Minimum 1-5 years experience servicing analytical equipment or equivalent applications specialist experience.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work across all levels, functions and regions
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
PC skills with the knowledge of installing Software packages needed to do the job
Eager to learn, and supportive to colleagues and peers
Good hardware and software skills especially of Windows operating systems and applications as well as Microsoft Office package.
Curiosity about analytical instruments, systems, applications, new products and technologies
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Driving License.
Willingness to travel mainly within the appointed region but frequently as well through Europe/European Territory. For training or special calls, international traveling including all EMEA Territory and the US is required.
Language skills: Dutch and English.
