Field Service Engineer - Refrigeration

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a  Field Service Engineer Refrigeration , who will join the service department of our Poultry Division.

In this role you are one of our refrigeration specialists and responsible for preparing, executing and commissioning of our chilling system for poultry processing, all over the world.

Maintaining and troubleshooting on already installed equipment and installations will also be your responsibility. In larger projects, you will supervise local colleagues and/or contractors and will communicate with the customer and internal stakeholders about progress. You will arrange customer training and will feed results back to the organization. 
 

Main tasks:

  • Prepare and execute the installation and commissioning of new refrigeration equipment/installations.
  • Reporting on completed projects.
  • Independently support customers on performance issues and troubleshooting.
  • Manage local employees in larger installation projects.
  • Train our customers and feedback results to your colleagues.
  • Regular meetings with your manager and the team.
  • Work in a team with experienced coworkers, both at customer site and in the office, enabling to learn from each other and share knowledge.
  • Since you will be travelling globally, you will be away from home on a regular basis. To ensure you can also spend time on your friends and family, we have a clear schedule of our projects and travel. We take your holidays, important birthdays, and weekend trips into account when creating this schedule.

  • Certified as a Refrigeration Service Technician (CRST) or a similar certification is preferred
  • Experienced in Electrical and Mechanical service engineering.
  • Experience with pumping systems (ammonia (NH3) and/or CO2) is a must.
  • Experience with glycol systems is a plus
  • Several years of (field) service experience within refrigeration
  • You can be described as a solid, self-reliant, communicative, and analytically strong person.
  • Good English communication skills
  • In possession of a valid driver license
  • Must have relevant EU travel and work documents
  • Ability and willingness to travel (+/-60%).
