Field Service Technician

Your tasks

You will work on installing, maintaining and repairing our access and parking management systems. You work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure that our systems perform optimally. Your expertise and technical skills contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and the smooth operation of our systems. Our customers include healthcare institutions, municipalities, parking operators and hotels. And while you sleep at night, your car is restocked so that you can immediately head out to your next customer.
You will work in a team of 11 colleagues who live throughout the country and serve our customers.

Your tasks:

  • Installing and configuring Skidata access and parking management systems for customers.
  • Analyzing and solving malfunctions and problems with existing SKIDATA parking management systems.
  • Carrying out maintenance and service work to ensure the functionality and performance of the systems.
  • Provide instructions and explanations to customers and operators on the use and maintenance of the systems.
  • Breakdown services are part of the position and this is on average once every 6 weeks.
  • We won't throw you in at the deep end straight away. We always start with a thorough induction process. You will visit the various departments and a colleague will be available to guide you through our systems and processes. Everything under control? Then we would like to let you get started independently!

    Your profile

  • You have at least MBO work and thinking level.
  • You have an affinity with IT infrastructure and a feeling for customers.
  • You have good communication skills (oral and written) in Dutch and English.
  • The application for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the application procedure.

  • A gross monthly salary of € 2,700 to a maximum of € 3,250 gross per month based on 38 hours.
  • 26 vacation days and ADV days on a full-time basis.
  • An end-of-year bonus of a maximum of one gross month's salary, based on the achieved group targets.
  • A company car, a laptop and a telephone.
  • You will receive an extra compensation for the breakdown service.

  • In this position of Field Engineer you start with an annual contract, if both sides are happy with it, we will be happy to make it a contract for an indefinite period.
