Overview
Foot Locker, Inc. is looking to hire a Financial Analyst for our Capital Planning team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating essential reports and providing documents for management team that will allow them to make important business investment decisions. Incumbent will also be responsible for providing management with necessary analytics.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of Capital Authorization Requests (CAR);
Conduct weekly calls with Store Development team to support Real Estate Committee Process;
Work closely with Store Development (Field Leasing, Construction, Design, Lease Admin), Foot Locker Division and other finance teams;
Support CAR Approval Process, ensuring accurate and timely upload into Docusign. Communication and update of CAR approval report;
Understanding of Real Estate deal economics and the related accounting;
Perform monthly data validation of financial models;
Prepare and analyze various weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports;
Prepare presentation deck for monthly Real Estate Meetings;
Main point of contact for all questions relating to CARs;
Complete ad hoc assignments and reports as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field;
One to two years of related experience in Real Estate Finance preferred;
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, and Access);
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment as well as working independently with minimal supervision;
Experience presenting to all levels of management;
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
