First Line Support Engineer

As a First Line Support Engineer, you will serve asthe central information hub for our service organization, playing akey role in providing technical support to ourcustomers.

  • Lead our serviceorganization to prevent or mitigate customer issues by initiatingimprovements, sharing information and identifying structuralissues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact forcustomer inquiries and system-related questions, especially for ourEBPG customers.
  • Responds to customer inquiriesand coordinates additional activities using telephone and emailcommunication channels.
  • Perform initialtroubleshooting, collect and document necessary information, andattempt to troubleshoot remotely ifpossible.
  • Work closely with field serviceengineers, technical support team and other professionals to ensuretimely and satisfactory resolution ofissues.
  • Coordinate on-site visits when remoteassistance/support is not possible, ensuring a structured approachand maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Takeresponsibility and ensure thorough follow-up until a satisfactorysolution is reached for both you and ourclients.
  • Perform other support duties such aspreparing requisitions, logging service calls/reports and assistingwith installation operations.

Functie-eisen

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics,mechatronics or physics combined with a practical mindset andextensive technical knowledge in areas such as vacuum technology,electronics, software and mechanics.
  • Customeroriented and strong analytical skills, EBPG system troubleshootingexperience preferred.
  • English language skills(both oral and written); Knowledge of the German language isconsidered an advantage.
  • Process-oriented,detail-oriented and structured workstyle.
  • Excellent communication andorganizational skills.
  • At least 5 years ofexperience in a similar position in the semiconductorindustry.
