You are responsible for defining the Change Agenda in Metocean Monitoring & Forecasting, for shaping the solution based on market & client insights and internal performance and lessons learned, and optimisation and standardisation of work processes;

You guide the global roll-out and delivery of the solution by defining differentiating solutions, providing detailed guidance to Innovation teams and driving the commercial uptake by creation of recognition of the solution in the market;

You drive the commercialisation of the solution, develop winning commercial models & pricing strategies, and support key account managers in pursuing opportunities;

You deeply understand market trends and client needs and align and maintain close client relationships with strategic clients;

You develop a sales & marketing plan to achieve profitable growth and support the implementation of delivery excellence related to the solution;

You determine the innovation roadmap for the service line, set the innovation budget for solution-related innovation, and define if these innovations will be built internal, purchased and/or developed via partnerships.

You have a MSc degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 8 years working experience in a, preferably Metocean-focused, client facing role related to e.g. innovation, marine/land, operations, commercial;

You have previous management experience and know how drive organisation and cultural change to facilitate development;

You are able to work well alongside peers, colleagues and partners to impact positively on business performance;

You have a strong business-acumen, are client-oriented and actively focus on achieving sustainable results with a passion for success;

You have an innovative approach and always strive for operational excellence in all goals;

You have the ability to lead teams and build relationships at all levels (both within and beyond Fugro); and excellent language skills in English (both oral and written).
