Manpower is looking for a aProcurement and Supply Chain Manager for a company inEindhoven.

We are seeking aProcurement and Supply Chain Manager to develop and executestrategies for our engineering-to-order business, ensuringalignment with company goals. Leading a team of 6 procurementprofessionals, you will provide guidance and mentorship to ensureefficient operations. Collaborating closely with engineering andproject management teams, you will develop procurement strategiesbased on project requirements and milestones. You will establishand maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorableterms for custom-made components and materials. Evaluating suppliercapabilities and performance, you will implement performancemanagement programs to drive continuous improvement. Managing theend-to-end procurement process, including contract negotiations andlogistics operations, you will ensure timely delivery of materialsto project sites. Additionally, you will implement inventorymanagement practices to optimize inventory levels while maintainingavailability of critical components. Keeping abreast of industrytrends, you will implement relevant improvements to procurement andsupply chain practices.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management,engineering, business administration, or related field (master'sdegree preferred)
• Some years of provenexperience in procurement and supply chain management, specificallyin engineering-to-order or project-based manufacturing
• Experience in the construction sector is anadded benefit
• Availability of 40 hours perweek 
• Strong leadership abilities,demonstrated success in managing teams and driving operationalexcellence in complex supply chain environments
• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing,supplier management, and procurement best practices in customizedengineering contexts
• Excellent negotiationskills, ability to forge strong supplier partnerships, managecontracts, and achieve cost savings while maintaining quality
• Experience managing complex logisticsoperations, including transportation, customs clearance, anddelivery coordination
• Proficiency inprocurement and supply chain management software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,adept at managing technical specifications and complex procurementprocesses
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capableof managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting projecttimelines
• Familiarity with relevant industryregulations, quality standards, and legal requirements inengineering and manufacturing sectors
