In the capacity of a Homologation CoC SupportEngineer, you are an integral member of the Homologation team witha primary role in overseeing the Certificate of Conformity (CoC)process. Your key responsibility involves serving as the FunctionalApplication Manager for the CoC editor, facilitating the automatedgeneration of CoCs. These certificates are essential prerequisitesfor the registration of DAF vehicles by our customers in variousEuropean countries.

Yourresponsibilities:

• Ensure continuouscompliance of CoC, ECE label, and type plate with regulatoryrequirements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance ofInitial Vehicle Information (IVI) with both EC-regulations andlocal requirements.
• Act as the FunctionalApplication Manager (FAM) for the CoC editor software, analyzingand suggesting improvements.
• Define businessrequirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (ITD,M&S, subsidiaries) and externalauthorities.
• Test and validate CoC editorsoftware updates in close cooperation with the ITdepartment.
• Support daily CoC generationprocess and rectify any incorrect CoCs asneeded.
• Provide assistance to DAF subsidiariesand offer guidance for vehicle registration processes in variouscountries.
• Maintain and update qualityprocedures for CoCs, type plates, and ECEstickers.
• Represent DAF in the ACEA workinggroup for CoC and IVI developments.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor's degree in automotive ormechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with orunderstanding of the certification and registrationprocess.
• Affinity for and experience with ITprocesses.
• Extensive knowledge of the vehicledomain.
• Proactive and entrepreneurialpersonality.
• Strong communication andpersuasion skills.
• Advanced proficiency inspoken and written English.
