Introduction to the job
As a project manager, you will be the intermediate link between expertise departments and within and outside HR. You will participate in different projects and make sure new policies and processes are implemented smoothly within People Services. In doing so, you will have a continuous focus on improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.
You will actively and constantly seek for and deploy efficient ways of working to improve the inflow of People Services and to improve the customer experience. You are the first point of contact for the first line employees in our department (People Services) for all policy and process related topics.
Role and responsibilities
Your role is to realize high quality implementations of new or improved processes and policies. You will gain knowledge of the system (the People Portal) and you use your proven track record in deploying HR related policies and processes. You will report to the team lead of the policy process and expertise team within People Services.
As an project manager you’ll actively align with your stakeholders towards a common purpose. Because of your clear, concise and direct open communication you achieve a shared understanding of our tasks, issues and goals. You actively listen and show empathy in dealing with others, even in difficult situations.
You independently owns projects with where you scope, create milestones and use project management methodology. Therefore it is essential that you ask detailed questions, provide feedback and advise on a tactical level to internal stakeholders. You drive your own results and that of People Services by challenging your stakeholders and setting priorities for the department.
You will handle inquiries from a tier 2 perspective where your expertise is needed, and train our firstline colleagues when knowledge is missing. You know how to resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner - in a first time right, within SLA and e2e way of working. When off-track you can identify, create a plan and inform your stakeholders.
Additionally, you generate insights via customers or data to create and implement a plan which improves quality to the customer or reduces waste (lean methodology) within People Services. You will bring back the input back to our expertise teams, in case where policy adjustments are needed and safeguard your own knowledge & skills is your specilism.
You actively share your knowledge, check the knowledge database on your own expertise domain and provide input to the team. Using your knowledge, you will be the buddy of new team members during their onboarding period and will be serve as a mentor for junior in the team. You also represent the team lead in case of absence (making sure all daily operations are monitored and action taken when required).
