About the job

You are responsible for the correct and timely execution and handling of quotations and orders for spare parts and for maintaining further development and growth of the spare parts service program.

  • Translate customer specifications and expectations into quotations;
  • Prepare and draw up quotations of spare parts;
  • Has contact with various internal departments (Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics), and external parties as (sub-) suppliers, Alfa Laval Sales Offices and customers and prospects;
  • Coordinate and being responsible for the delivery of spare parts to customers (agents, Alfa Laval sales offices, ship owners and yards);
  • Maintain and develop accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales;
  • Maintain communication with responsible sales support manager and sales support engineer about commercial feedback from customers, price issues, discount, delivery time;
  • Process nonstandard orders based on a Service Order Report;
  • Set up customer profile and calculation of customer value;
  • Prepare spare parts (lists).
  • Who you are

    Further, you have:

  • Technical degree on MBO or HBO level;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Preferably a few years of experience in a comparable environment;
  • Creative and structured personality.
  • Customer-oriented and commercially sensitive.
  • Have a flexible response to customer needs.
