### - This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in our Cape Town office. - 4--5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in Java 8+ and relevant frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. - Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API services. - Experience working in an English-speaking environment. - Ability to work as part of a team. - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills. - Experience in frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue is a plus. - Knowledge of CI/CD practices is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. - Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting. - Troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively with the team.
