Location/Division Specific Information

The Fisher Scientific Channel is the single source for a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment, chemicals, instruments, life sciences reagents, and consumable supplies. This position is remote and can be located in any of the 18 countries where we operate in Europe, requiring fluency in English and ideally, one of the local languages (Dutch/Flemish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish).

We are seeking a Digital Account Manager to drive growth within our broad customer base in Benelux & Nordics. As part of a new team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to increase sales, while providing exceptional customer service.

What will be your day job?

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to encourage customers to self-serve on our website
  • Handle daily customer interactions, including quotation requests and issue resolution
  • Contact high-potential customers through various channels to drive revenue growth
  • Demonstrate how to use our website effectively to find answers and place orders
  • Build a network of customer contacts for further marketing
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to prioritize customer outreach
  • Transfer high-potential customers to our Inside and Field Sales teams for ongoing account management
  • Welcome and support new customers in their eCommerce experience
  • Pilot new sales tactics and continuously improve our approach as a team
  • Support the eBusiness team in identifying and resolving customer experience issues on our website
  • Maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce to meet or exceed objectives
  • Requirements

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English and one of the local languages (Dutch/Flemish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Persistence and ability to overcome barriers to achieve success
  • Self-directed and goal-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Comfortable approaching new contacts and handling rejection
  • Strong digital skills for optimizing effectiveness with technology
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SFDC
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (10%) and attend meetings
