Job Description

As a Product Compliance Intern, you will gain a deeper insight into the current regulatory landscape. During this internship you will work on a project related to the optimization of the internal IT tools and data management. You will act as a valuable source of support to the Product Stewardship department. Our main task is to respond to all regulatory compliance-related questions and requests during the product development & distribution activities of the products within the portfolio (for both existing and new applications). 

Your main tasks will be the following:

  • Optimize IT tools and data management practices within the compliance team
  • Update existing scripts to expand their functionality and redundancy as well as develop new tools
  • Support daily customer compliance questions
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on product compliance topics to understand the needs and provide support
  • Furthermore, you will be supporting other ad hoc tasks on projects currently run by the product stewardship department.

    The preferred start date is  August 15th, 2024 . The ideal candidate is available  4-5 days a week for 6 months . The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.

    Qualifications

    What kind of candidate are we looking for?

  • Someone currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science in a  Dutch university , or in a related scientific/technical field with a good knowledge of coding
  • Someone with good knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript /Python/C++), Google Apps Script is a big plus
  • Someone with good communication skills in English and able to work in a changing and dynamic environment.
  • Someone who is a quick learner and a creative problem solver
  • Someone who can work in diverse teams and is not afraid to ask questions
