IT QA Consultant

As an IT QA Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and executing testing activities to support new deployments, validate existing functionality, and ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure, software products, and services. You'll collaborate closely with various stakeholders to establish effective testing cycles, focusing on automation, reusability, and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
What will you do?
Testing Strategy: Provide expertise in building a pragmatic IT QA framework, design validation frameworks, and drive automation to improve efficiency.
Testing Preparation & Execution: Implement testing strategies, support in creating reusable user stories/test scripts, validate defects, and document test cycles and results.
Integration & Continuous Improvement: Seamlessly integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, constantly refine testing strategies, and monitor advancements in automatic testing.
Audit Preparation & Execution: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, participate in audit activities, and implement corrective actions based on audit outcomes.
Result Areas:
Quality & Reliability: Ensure software products meet high standards of quality and reliability, complying with ISO13485:2016 requirements, and maintain structured documentation.
Testing Execution: Measure test coverage, defect detection and resolution rates, test automation coverage, and reduction in testing cycle time.
Defect Management: Efficiently manage and report software defects, facilitate re-testing, and support resolution efforts.
Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve automated testing processes, optimizing efficiency, reusability, and accuracy.
What do you bring?
HBO level, trained and/or affinity in IT & IT QA.
Qualification/certification in test automation (e.g., iSQI CAT, ISQTB, TMAP Next).
Proficiency in English (oral and written), Dutch .
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Experience with documentation practices, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, XRAY) and Automatic Testing platforms (e.g., Robot Framework, UiPath, MABL).
