### Must have:

### - This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in our Johannesburg office. - 4+ years of relevant experience - Proficient in Java 8+ and relevant frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English-speaking environment - Ability to work as part of a team - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills - Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue - Knowledge of CI/CD practices - Familiarity working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Collaborate with frontend developers in integrating user-facing elements - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability - Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests - Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting
