Just Eat Takeaway Payments Team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. You’ll be a part of an agile team responsible for the company’s core (Fintech) while working with cutting-edge technologies.

As our Software Engineer, you’ll play a vital part in our Fintech Services team working with world-class engineers responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that will help us fulfill our mission.

You’ll be working on our service, public APIs, internal core processes and logic, integrations between our platform and systems, and much more.

 

In this role you’ll also:

• Designing and developing scalable enterprise solutions using .NET technology.
• Working with product managers, QA and other developers to implement new features or products.
• Troubleshooting bugs or making necessary fixes to existing products.
• Documenting design decisions and architectural approaches.
• Working closely with QA and Support teams to address bugs and improve the quality of products.
• Supporting the application post-launch.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Create/Assist in developing documentation.
• Creating unit/integration testing.
• Optimising applications to maximise speed and scalability, we build ultra-fast APIs.
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

Here is what we need from you:

• 1 to 2 years of development experience
• Developing communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with PHP and C# technologies
• Familiarity with at least one database technology (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Basic experience with version control systems like GIT
• Basic understanding of Docker
• Awareness of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
