Junior Payments Analyst

Our client is an international player in the field of 'payments' consultancy, specialized in benchmarking and advice, with the aim of
- making the existing agreements between their customers and banks/payment providers transparent,
- reducing payment costs and
- improving conditions for their customers in Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States States.
Their customers, mainly e-commerce companies, ensure this through their services. They have the right payment products and services at the right price. Their extensive experience in the global payment markets enable them to provide a relevant benchmark for every company with the most current rates. Our client is looking for a junior payments analyst to join the growing team of payment specialists. This exciting role will be a crucial part of the analyst job team where the candidate will work a lot with the international team of colleagues. In this position the candidate will be primarily responsible for the structured collection of data and the in-depth analysis. Also, will play an important role in the presentation of the findings conclusions and make (graphic) presentations.
More specifically You:

  • will analyze transaction data and contracts.
  • You are responsible for creating a blueprint of the existing situation at the customer and the analysis of this transaction data and compares it with the contracts and actual invoices.
  • You identify any deviations and anomalies in the facts and
  • will also assist in presenting the findings, conclusions and improvement proposals to the customer and you are part of the negotiating team.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication (also in English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in an (international) team environment.
  • Experience in the payments sector or financial services is a plus.
