Your impact and responsibilities
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager, who is eager to manage several different projects with the aim to improve healthcare. As a Junior Project Manager, you will set up the project, make a clear plan with deliverables and timelines, and coordinate the execution of the projects by involving and activating several teams and internal and/or external stakeholders.
Project examples:
- Setting up new clinical registries or adding new insights to our clinical registries in close collaboration with clinical boards of medical professionals,
- Projects to improve our services e.g. by adding new features, analytics or ways of delivering the data
- Advising our client counterpart on the status and future needs of their registry.
Our clients are medical professionals – most of the time MD’s. They very well know what they need to analyze in order to improve health care, but not how. The Junior Project Manager thinks along to scope projects according to the needs of the clients. You will be part of a young and ambitious team of (senior) project managers, and working closely with senior project managers, analysts, product owners and developers. They all share the mission of helping hospitals to improve the healthcare delivered to their patients, by creating analytical models that offer actionable insights.

At our Real World Data Business Unit we turn data into better healthcare by using real world data create valuable insights for healthcare professionals. We collect, process, and analyze patient-level medical data, to provide our users access to reliable insights. Within this business unit, the Services team makes sure the commitments made to our clients are delivered. Our services and products help hospitals to improve their quality of care, by providing data driven insights in their patient and clinical outcomes and costs of care delivered. Our team consists of purpose driven highly motivated analytical people committed to make a difference in improving healthcare. Almost half of the team members are medical doctors, and several have engineering and science backgrounds.
The potential for improvement in health care value is enormous, given the large variations that exist among providers in treatment decisions, cost of care, and patient outcomes. At the same time, hospitals face increasing pressure to contain costs. To improve the healthcare delivered while keeping costs in check, hospitals need to have:
- A clear picture of their own health outcomes and costs
- The ability to compare that to best practices in order to improve.
The Data Platform and Impact Programs we offer, provide a solution for this. We are looking for a Junior Project Manger, who is as passionate as we are to improve healthcare quality.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, ideally within the medical or Life Sciences space, e.g. (technical) Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, MPA) or a Msc degree from a technical university with clear affinity with healthcare;
- You have 0-2 years of relevant working experience: e.g. (healthcare) project management, change, management or strategy consulting, worked as a Medical Doctor while having project management experience on side projects;
- You speak and write Dutch and English fluently;
- Experience with working with many different stakeholders, is a plus;
