Junior VAT Analyst
These are some of the key ingredients to the role
- Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and related filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in resolving internal VAT issues and support VAT audits.
- Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and business units to resolve VAT issues and ensure VAT compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation changes
- Act as a subject matter expert in projects related to VAT.
- Provide support on Workday financial systems, ensuring VAT-related data is correctly captured and reported.
What will you bring to the table?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in VAT accounting, with specific knowledge of Italy and Poland VAT regulations preferred.
- Experience with Workday financial systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English. Knowledge of Italian or Polish is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
- VAT accounting and TB reconciliation.
