Local Process Engineer 

The Local Process Engineer entry level works on optimization and operational process support seed operation in Bergschenhoek. You are also a partner in Production System implementation, optimization, and project identification. You work with a team of seed specialist across multiple departments.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide ongoing key process and operational support.​
  • Independent identification and solving of production and quality disturbances based on protocols and craftsmanship/ experience.​
  • Training and coaching of the employees on advanced technology.​
  • Participate as a project team member for low to medium complexity process improvement projects​.
  • Monitor and identify process improvement opportunities.​
  • Participate in site and data analysis support.​
  • Collaborate with other Engineers to ensure strong network and alignment between squads and units.​
  • WHO ARE YOU

  • B.S. Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable Engineering degree or Data Engineering degree.​
  • 0-3 years of manufacturing experience including internships and co-ops.​
  • Good Analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills.​
  • Collaborative team player capable of working well with people across all hierarchies.​
  • Able to work on conceptual level as well as practical level.​
  • Good interpersonal skills such as communication, listening, verbal and assertiveness.​
  • Results driven.​
  • Language Requirements – excellent English skills is compulsory, good command of Dutch would be an added benefit.
