
Logistics Employee
As a logistics employee you are responsible for receiving, registering and storing of incoming goods. You maintain records to keep track of stock levels by means of an own developed tool and SAP Business-by-Design. You will follow and administrate the internal flow of goods and are responsible for order picking as part of the production process. In order to optimize the overall process, you will propose changes in the supply chain to improve quality and to streamline the production process as part of continuous improvement. To do so you must have adequate insight in logistic processes. You will work in a small but dynamic team where last-minute work is not rare and problems need to be solved on the spot. Accuracy and delivering a high standard of quality are your second nature.
**Specific tasks and responsibilities include:**
* Incoming goods receival and check whether they meet the requirements mentioned in the purchase order.
* Interface with the Quality Assurance team and engineering teams such that they can perform the inspections and handle quality issues.
* Ensure that the good are registered correctly and stored safely.
* Keep track of stock records/levels.
* Prepare purchase requisitions for buying standard stock items.
* Order picking and item return for production.
* General maintenance and upkeep of warehouse.
* Pack outgoing shipments.
