### - Enrolled in or have completed a degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field - Strong foundation in computer science and machine learning fundamentals - Comfortable programming in Python - Familiar with deep learning frameworks - Capable of writing clean and efficient code - Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity - Interest in life sciences - Familiarity with large language models and transformer architectures (preferred) - Experience with GPU workload profiling, deep learning system optimization, model compression techniques, or distributed inference (preferred) - Contributions to open-source machine learning projects (plus)

Responsibilities:

- Improve the speed and efficiency of biological AI models for protein folding, protein design, and large foundation modeling - Profile inference bottlenecks in selected biological models - Implement and test optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation - Explore efficient attention mechanisms and architecture-level improvements - Build and benchmark optimized inference pipelines - Evaluate trade-offs between speed, memory usage, and accuracy - Write clean, well-documented experimental code - Share results and provide practical recommendations for deployment
