Deployment EU ensures an optimal utilization of adidas' DC Network, enabling reliable, efficient, responsive and sustainable fulfilment to consumers/customers in Europe. This involves strategic pre-season planning and real-time operational adjustments during the season to optimize outcomes.
The Manager Deployment plays a important role in overseeing, executing and optimizing relevant processes that are integral to the smooth functioning of Deployment and Planning. The primary focus lies in guaranteeing timely product range updates, efficient execution of Sales Order and Forecast Netting, proactive management of transfer orders, and active participation in testing and project initiatives.
By performing these key functions, the Deployment Manager and the Deployment Team contributes significantly to the overall effectiveness and the delivery of the Supply Chain Strategy/ achievement of Commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Own responsibility to provide for the European ranged articles to European SCM teams, European Markets and European Organization. Hold ownership of all ranging & deployment relevant databases and seasonal changes regarding accuracy and functionality.
Take ownership of master data management in accordance with European Deployment. Structure range master data to enable cross functional reporting and business control. Maintain and ensure correct & timely master data of European article range to enable proper commercial and operational execution.
Supervise the execution, reporting, and effective planning of Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) across the European DC network. Ensure precise and timely execution while maintaining comprehensive reporting standards.
Take ownership of Deployment execution: the e2e process of pre-season deployment plan execution in season deployment planning incl. Pre-Order Decentralization, ABDCN, Migration, etc. Adjust deployment plan in-season and replenish DCs by rebalancing between DCs to ensure we can fulfill orders & avoid stock-out situations.
Development and validation of deployment scenarios by applying state-of-the art supply chain optimization tools. Reporting present progress and model results incl. financial assessment to key internal stakeholders.

Wholesale forecast creation – creation and alignment of Wholesale creation on plant level
Create what-if-analyses, identify potential future challenges and highlight need for action.
Network health and action. Provide and support implementing tactics to mitigate potential to ensure that DCs operate in the most effective and efficient manner with the optimal mix of products, product division and business channels. Initiate counter measure.
Work on strategic and operational projects to improve different processes.
Budget planning with Finance
Build and maintain excellent relationships with all cross functional partners.
Leverage functional expertise and operational insights to identify, analysis, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to support senior leaders in decision making.
Manage and execute new SCM systems/ technology/methodology roadmap and process changes, upskilling, training, and execution (i.e., Trans4rm)
Provide support and expert consultation to the deployment team on pre- and in-season activities and initiatives, including but not limited to Migration and supply control, forecast decentralization, and technical process execution and optimization.
Provide input to identify improvement potential, and feasibility of process change with stakeholders through variance analysis and effective usage of data, create transparency on priorities, develop options / solutions and facilitate recommendations for preparing fact-based decisions ending into regular continuous improvements.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
College or university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, information systems, logistics or operations
3-5 years working experience, preferably in a Supply Chain Management function
Strong Analytical skills and knowledge of analytical programs, like Power BI
