The Marketing Data Analyst leads the development and execution of (new) data elements, fact-based reporting, analysis and analytical models used to enhance decision making across the marketing function and other functions working on the acquisition and retention of customers. The analyst supports the organization with insights using statistical, mathematical/predictive models used to produce results that support strategic objectives. This expert role is part of the Global Demand Centre MT, and provides insights and advice on a frequent basis, at request and on own initiative, to all levels of the organization.
Your responsibilities
Leads all activities to create, define and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting, analyzing, and benchmarking marketing results to enhance decision making.
Develops dashboards and standardized reports to provide ongoing insights and forecasts of KPI’s to marketing, service, and sales stakeholders, provides deep dive analysis and reports to stakeholders, then work to ensure utilization and adoption of reporting by these stakeholders.
Create advanced and predictive models such as marketing mix models, MQL & Opportunity scoring, and customer lifetime value, then assist marketing teams in using these models to adjust their tactical mixes.
Leads efforts on market research by collecting and analyzing data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs, and competitors, to better identify market trends and potential, factors influencing product and services demand, and improve our general understanding of our customers.
Leads efforts to build and maintain the marketing data analytics tech stack, and drives automation and AI into model development.
Your skills and knowledge
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, preferably in a quantitative study like Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, etc.
Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and modelling/forecasting experience, applied to marketing challenges, is required.
Experience in using data management and business intelligence tools, and producing analysis from digital data sources, such as CRM data (preferably Salesforce), Google Analytics, email marketing, and other tracking/performance monitoring tools to inform marketing strategies.
Ability to simplify complex problems into understandable reports for marketing leaders and other functions; ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
English: full professional proficiency.
